You can see the Vegas Strip at the top of the picture.

The airplane is moving from left to right. We are flying over the approach end of the two airliner runways; our runway is at the top of the picture. We are on a very wide left downwind for runway 19R. (For any pilots out there, that's not a typo. They put us in a left pattern for a right runway.)
